SuperCamps and the Canadian Basketball League offer Basketball Camps, Basketball Clinics, and Basketball Skill Development Weekly Lessons.

The SuperCamps will be dedicated to kids of all skill level and ability, boys and girls, ages 8 to 17 years old. Each program will consist of on court training with Canadian Basketball League Coaches and other special guests including former Raptors Head Coach Butch Carter.

All SuperCamps employees are highly skilled and professionally trained. Between our dependable camp counselors, expert trainers, security and management team, we will ensure your camper receives the best training, fundamental skill development and fun-filled experience at all the sessions they attend.

Programs:Weekly Lessons - Skill School
When: March 20-April 30, every Sunday afternoon for 90 minutes

Where: Toronto Pan-Am Sports Centre

Who: Youth (ages 9-12) Teen (ages 13-17)

Price: 6 sessions for $200.00 or 1 session for $60.00

Details: 6 sessions on Sunday afternoon at 90 minutes each. Learn the fundamentals of basketball with instruction on footwork for offense and defense, ball handling, dribbling, and passing during the first 2 sessions. Campers will work on their shooting technique, breaking down their mechanics and building proper form during the middle 2 sessions. The final 2 sessions will focus on controlled scrimmages to help campers develop an increased understanding of how to play through 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 competitions. The campers will learn new drills that will help them improve their understanding and appreciation of basketball in a fun and safe environment. All skill levels are welcome. Former Raptors Head Coach Butch Carter will speak to the campers about the game of basketball and its benefits.


Summer Shooting Academy
When: July 16-20, Overnight Camp

Where: Durham College in Oshawa, ON

Who: Youth (ages 9-12) Teen (ages 13-17)

Price: $600.00

Details: The Shooting Academy is a 5-day, 4-night camp held at the Durham College campus in Oshawa, Ontario. The Academy will provide campers with a state-of-the-art environment to help teach the proper shooting technique and mechanics for success. Each day the campers will receive unique individual coaching from our first-class coaches. Campers will go through daily stations to build all-around basketball skills and fundamentals; dribbling, passing, ball handling, and rebounding. Campers will also learn the proper techniques to help them improve defensively and will play in live competition with 5-on-5 practices and games. Campers will be treated to the experience of living on campus at one of Ontario's best colleges, they will eat their meals in the cafeteria and stay in the dormitory's in a supervised and safe environment.

Staff:
Butch Carter
Butch Carter is the co-founder of SuperCamps and President of the Canadian Basketball League. He has a long history of coaching and developing players on and off the court. As the Head Coach of the Toronto Raptors he coached and developed NBA super stars Tracy McGrady and Vince Carter. As an Assistant Coach with the Milwaukee Bucks he coached and developed NBA All-Stars Vin Baker and Glen Robinson. Coach Carter worked as an Assistant Coach in the NCAA at Long Beach State University in California and at Dayton University in Ohio. Prior to his time in the NCAA, Carter was the Head Coach at his alma mater Middletown High School in Middletown, Ohio where he is the only person to win both Player and Coach of the Year honors for the state. As a player in high school, Carter was the Ohio Player of the Year and a McDonalds All-American. He played at Indiana University and led his team to the NCAA Tournament Elite 8 in 1980 before being drafted by Pat Riley and Jerry West of the Los Angeles Lakers. Butch went on to play for the Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks before starting his coaching career.

Garrett Kelly
Garrett Kelly is a co-founder of SuperCamps along with Butch Carter. Prior to SuperCamps, Kelly served as the Director of Basketball Operations at Siena College in New York from 2013-2015 helping the staff resurrect the Saints program capturing the school and conferences first-ever post season tournament championship as the 2014 CBI Champions. Prior to Siena he served as the Director of Basketball Operations at Redford University in Virginia during the 2012-13 season, and the Video Coordinator there in 2011-12. He began his coaching career as an Assistant Coach at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. in 2010-11.

Garrett attended Loyola University Maryland and helped the team win a then school-record 19 wins in the 2007-2008 season before earning a full athletic scholarship as a senior. Kelly graduated from Loyola in 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and a focus in public relations. A native of Asheville, North Carolina, Kelly was an All-Conference and All-Area performer for T.C. Roberson High School under Coach Richie Sizemore.

In addition to his coaching stints at Siena College, Radford University, and Catholic University of America, Kelly has a wide range of camp and clinic coaching experience as well as directing weekly skill development lessons.
