BCIT’s Television and Video Production diploma develops all of the skills necessary for a career in any form of visual media production: film, broadcast television, live event, and video production. Students are immersed in production from the very beginning of the program, where they will develop skills to write, direct, produce, shoot, edit, light, and mix audio.

Through practical, hands-on experiences on sets, in studios, and on location, students learn the technical and aesthetic skills with which they can tell stories visually. Course work in writing, planning, business, and post-production supports both individual and team-based production activities throughout the program.
