Tempo Dance Academy

Proud to be serving the Nanaimo community for nearly 25 years. Classes are offered in Ballet, Pre-Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical Jazz, Tap, Pointe, Modern & Musical Theatre for all ages 3 to Adults. We are located in the North Nanaimo area, on the top floor of the Applecross Business Centre. Each year, the teaching staff looks forward to developing your child’s love of dance. Whether he or she is dancing for recreation and pleasure or pursuing a performing or teaching career, each student possesses unique talent and ability – precious gifts for us to develop.

Tempo Dance Academy's aims and objectives are to provide students of all ages and levels of experience an education in the performing arts by offering the training needed in a varied and meticulous manner. We strive to give students the opportunity to enhance their performing ability and, in doing so, instill a sense of self-discipline, pride, accomplishment, and understanding for the performing arts.
