The Ascension Of Our Lord Parish

The Ascension, a small Roman Catholic parish, has been serving the English-speaking faithful of Westmount since 1926. Our parish with its heritage Casavant organ has long had a tradition for classical church music.

Although small in numbers, the people of the parish are deeply committed to promoting Gospel values through outreach to those in need, whether it be supporting school breakfasts, feeding the homeless or providing support for Syrian refugees arriving in Montreal, as well as meals on wheels.

The beauty of our weekly worship, enriched through the active participation of our choir, seeks to inspire the parish’s outreach to make present “The reign of God” in today’s world.
