The Beaver Dam at Huron

The Beaver Dam is the Huron University College Students' Council student-operated, fully licensed bar and retail outlet. The Beaver Dam is operated by a team of dedicated, professional student staff, who fall under the portfolio of the Vice-President Finance & Administration. With its central location in the Student Activity Centre, (the SAC), the Beaver Dam is the heart of the Huron community. Students can attend programming in the Beaver Dam provided by the HUCSC, HUCSC societies, and members of the Huron, Western, and London communities at large all the while enjoying competitively priced alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and snacks in a warm and social environment. Students can also purchase Huron merchandise from the Beaver Dam to show of their Huron pride!

To book The Beaver Dam for a private event, please use our online booking form available at: https://myhuron.ca/?page_id=3020 A full bar with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will complement your event. Please note that all events at which alcohol is to be served will require your organization to cover bartender expenses at a rate of $12/hour plus applicable HST from the start of the event set-up, to the end of clean-up. External, non-Huron organizations and individuals are also required to play a flat rental rate of $100, which will guarantee you exclusive access to the SAC for the duration of your event. You will also have complimentary access to an Audio-Visual system which includes music, a projector, DVD player, Rogers TV and laptop projection and connectivity.
