The Big Ragu

A true Italian Trattoria located on Lansdowne Ave. just below St. Claire Ave. in Toronto. The idea behind the Big Ragu was to provide the neighborhood with a relaxed venue for eating simple Italian food, cooked extremely well, accompanied by excellent wine, at a great price. At The Big Ragu, we are not particularly into trends and gimmicks. Home-made pasta, slow cooked braises, warm and cold salads, and classical desserts are our specialties. Service is of the highest standard with exceptionally trained staff attending to the guest’s every need. A concise wine list is available by bottle or by carafe allowing visitors to try a range of different labels without breaking the bank. Our goal is to send you back out into the world feeling better than when you arrived.
