The Boss Novas

The Boss Novas are Surf / Rock Instrumental band, from Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. They perform original tunes, and classics surf tunes of the 1960's. The music is energetic, often fast, and drenched in the reverberated twang tones that so epitomized the early rock and roll sound.

There are elements of classic surf rock, spy, spaghetti western, rockabilly and early sci-fi in our music, as well as more progressive and modern elements. All of it is framed within that familiar sound that is sure to induce nostalgia!

The band is about letting loose and having fun.The Boss Novas are the gasoline to your party fire! We want to get you out of your chair and onto the dance floor.

We are from Alberta, where winters can be long and cold. The Boss Novas are a little slice of Island living. A taste of Tiki culture, A beach party to the ears, a tropical escape that you deserve....Surf's up!
