The Bread Gallery

Making our home in a heritage building, we feature work by established and emerging Nova Scotian artists who work in various mediums and styles.

Adjacent to the gallery is our scratch bakery offering a variety of freshly-baked products using local ingredients whenever possible.

We serve fresh ground fair trade organic coffee from Java Blend as well as Lover's Leap steeped loose tea.

Our famous cinnamon buns are hot from the oven daily and we have a large selection of goodies, including: cookies, fudge brownies, date bars, muffins, flaky tea biscuits, turnovers, carrot cake, gingerbread, loaf cakes, croissants, pies, strudel, and our own special "Brookies" a brownie sandwiched with vanilla bean cream cheese frosting.

We are proud to offer a daily lunch special with homemade soups and sandwiches made on our very own white and multigrain bread.

You can call ahead and have any of our products set aside for you, or make a special request for the tempting treat of your dreams.
