Finding a reliable childcare provider that you can trust and be comfortable with is a priority goal for parents and it is my intent to be exactly that for the parents who commit to this significant relationship with me.
I currently have no professional education with regards to childcare, but being associated with the Muskoka Home Childcare agency gives me the opportunity to access professional information and training which I aim to take full advantage of. I have life experience with different organizations; Girl Guides of Canada & Big Sisters of Canada, and outside of that a self-vested interest in the care and development of children. I am a logical person with common sense and I strongly believe in open & frequent communication.
The daycare space is completely child friendly and allows for "free-range" exploration with no breakable or unsafe items within reach or even accessible. I use child & environmentally safe cleaning products as well as essential oil aroma therapy for health and wellness practices.
There are spacious indoor and outdoor play areas with a variety of fun & educational toys for different stages of childhood. I am always present and will actively participate in structured play with the children as well as giving them opportunity to have unorganized playtime as a group or independently. Crafts and cooking are a regular part of my life and the children will have lots of chances to explore their creative side.
There is a rotating seasonal menu that consists of healthy homemade snacks & meals.
