The Crossing

Welcome to The Crossing operated by the Students Association of Olds College.

One look at the walls and anyone can see that this space holds true to its name, displays various railway crossing memorabilia and décor. But that theme goes much deeper, and is incorporated into the very essence of what The Crossing represents- A Journey.

From the beginning, students have viewed the establishment's name as a metaphor for The Crossing of paths. Each and every Olds College student is navigating a unique course that becomes intertwined with their fellow students as they share in the post secondary experience. Student stories are abstractly represented in everything from the license plates showcasing the provinces that students and alumni have come from to the road signs that signify where their education will lead them.

As you cross into this space, it is our hope that you will be inspired to reflect upon your own journey
