More about The Currie House Museum

The Currie House is Fredericton Junction's local history museum. Filled with artifacts from members of the community and surrounding region the house captures the way life used to be for the people in this area.

The buildings and grounds are historical landmarks with rich histories of their own.
The grounds are home to the house, barn, picnic area and Robin Hanson's "ART IN THE PARK" - sculptures that are scattered among the trails between and behind the house and river.

The Currie House is free to enter when open, but donations of money or bottles are encouraged to help raise money to replace the roof in the coming months.
Full tours, partial tours, and question and answer tours are available by our knowledgeable summer students or the house can be self toured by visitors as well.

Coffee and tea is available by donation of $5.00 or more and served in the Currie house china for the full "Tea time" experience.

Items for sale include:
"Days of Old" - A history of Fredericton Junction, $25.00.
