The Dandy Little Farm

Welcome to The Dandy Little Farm, the happy homestead of Daniel and Mandy da Costa.

As of 2018, we hope to be operational both as a farm and gourmet food processing and sales area.
The Dandy Little Farm's main focuses will be their sheep, ducks and the apple orchard. Not only a farm, we also house a papered chef.

On the pasture, we hope to house sheep, cows, goats, geese, ducks, and chickens.

We will be using multi-species managed intensive rotational grazing to feed our flock. Each species working symbiotically to ensure excellent pasture and flock health.

Lamb will be our main focus, also with cattle and birds. The other species will be hopefully heritage breeds, as we would like to also help propagate close-to-extinct species and raise knowledge on rare animal breeds in Canada.

In our retail section, we hope to offer fruits and veggies, meat, eggs, gourmet foods such as: cured meats, sausages, compotes, confits, as well as cheeses and of course, apple cider (alcoholic and non).

Future plans are to open the farm as an agri-tourism destination, where people can come and relax in our beautiful old farmhouse, that we hope to renovate as a bed and breakfast.
