The name may conjure up images of Miss Havisham’s crumbling mansion, but rest assured that The Dusty Victorian is very clean and well-maintained. When we first entered, it felt like walking into a dusty dream. Big and beautiful, built around 1889, the Dusty Victorian had been uninhabited for two years before we moved in. Located on a hill in the historic and picturesque stone town of St Marys, The Dusty Victorian is a fine example of a Folk Victorian period country house with an Italianate influence. We have great expectations for our home and are constantly working at preserving and restoring its inherent charm. We are very proud that The Dusty Victorian has a heritage designation, insuring that all her unique and original details will be protected for future generations to enjoy.
