The General Store Emporium, located in downtown Sussex, is home to more than 80 artisans, crafters and collectors. With few exceptions, everything is locally produced by NB artisans. There is truly something for everyone and for every occasion.
For many, it is also a leisurely stroll down memory lane with a wide selection of antiques and collectibles. The General Store Emporium is located in a century old building which is evident as soon as you enter. The original tenant was reported to have been a tailor and the shelving and a beautiful old mirror still remain.
The General Store Emporium is full of hand crafted items including pottery; jewelry both old and new, local authors; quilling; baby products; hand-made dolls and teddy bears; soap; jams & jellies; rugs and quilts; and a wide selection of specialty yarns.
