The Latch Inn & Restaurant

Only 2km away from Downtown Sidney, this historical Bed & Breakfast was the summer residence of Walter C. Nichol, Lieutenant-Governor of British Columbia from 1920 to 1926. The building was designed to highlight and respect the natural woods of British Columbia. The halls are finished in great panels of native fir while all the other rooms are finished in cottonwood, spruce or beech. Much has changed over the years, but much of the charm has stayed the same.

Each of the rooms at the Latch Inn is special and features much of the original art and decor of the original summer residence. The rooms include cable TV, coffee makers, private bathrooms, complimentary continental breakfast and WiFi.

The Latch Inn is a 10 minute drive from the British Columbia Aviation Museum, and a 20 minute drive from Victoria Butterfly Gardens and Butchart Gardens. It is also a short drive to the Victoria International Airport.
