The LifeShelter-Pictou County started in 2009 with our Community Breakfast Program. Every Wednesday and Friday to date we offer anyone in need - a hot nutritious breakfast! In November 2011 we took on the task of establishing Pictou County's first Emergency Winter Homeless Shelter. After a few months of hard work and incredible support from our community the shelter opened in Spring 2012. The LifeShelter Emergency Winter Shelter now operates yearly from late October - late April.
