Through a passion for pastry and all things sweet, each batch is carefully thought out, planned and made to taste with love. No two batches are alike, as each year brings different complexities of sour and sweet to the fresh fruit, nuts and cocoa beans used at this time.
A four-year apprenticeship in baking and pastry arts commencing at the Wickaninnish Inn, and completing at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise saw personal development and growth of my passion.
Nadia’s Naughty Chocolates started as a one time fundraiser for ovarian cancer in 2004 and remains a hobby business to this day now called “The Pastry Divas” to include my love of plated desserts. Dedication to the craft mixed with an eye for detail and creative flair won “The People’s Choice Award” at the Valentine’s Chocolate competition hosted by ‘The House of Switzerland’ at the 2010 Olympic games in Vancouver/Whistler.
May you enjoy these treats as much as I enjoyed designing and making them for family and friends, often under the watchful eye of my mom Mary and the quality control team of taste testers.
Sweetest Regards from The Artisan,
Nadia Dürig
