More about The University of New Brunswick Hiv/Aids Initiative - Masks for Butterflies

The UNB Aids/HIV Initiative is active on Saint John campus since 2011. We believe that research in hiv/aids topics is the most efficient avenue to decrease the hiv epidemic.

Moreover, this initiative was designed mostly to undergraduate students (But open to students from all academic levels) to promote pre-graduate-school experience. This project is an attempt to obtain basic experience in research conduct.

Finally, the main goal of the UNB AIDS/HIV Initiative is to introduce students to the world of AIDS/HIV research. However, as an immediate solution to the HIV epidemic, we found valuable to provide sexual education to our campus community, focusing on James Dunn and McKcay residences located on UNB Saint John campus.

UNB AIDS/HIV Initiative loves to take full advantage of professors, facilities, health care professionals, and community members to execute its projects. Also, we are highly interested to partner with professionals and specialists who are interested to provide partnership, academic contribution, guidance, supervision, etc.
