Tidy by Design

Hello, my name is Lana VanTilborg. I am a college graduate with a diploma in Production Packaging and have completed courses in Interior Design. I was born with a passion for organizing, tidiness and design. I also love helping others and hoped I could create a business through Tidy by Design Consulting.

After years of encouragement and positive feedback from family and friends, after years of reading and watching organizational and design information and after years of personal organizing, tidying and designing decisions, with years thinking about the idea of making this my career, I finally made the choice to do something about it and start my own business; Tidy by Design Consulting.

The organizational method I teach is highly influenced by the KonMari Method, learned through the inspirational books "the life-changing magic of tidying up" - the Japanese art of decluttering and organizing by Marie Kondo and also through her second book "Spark Joy". I hope to one day be able to attend a Marie Kondo Consulting seminar working towards becoming an official Marie Kondo Consultant and help ""Organize the World" -a world where people have tidied their homes and lead lives that spark joy.""
