Hatha Yoga by Perry Richardson
Type: Mild to mid intensity class where you’ll learn how to utilize your breath with postures. Afterwards you may feel relaxed, lengthened and toned. Expect to be moderately challenged. Suitable for beginners or experienced practitioner. This is not power yoga. The room temperature is normal.
• Focus: Mobility, strength, breath, balance and calming the mind. Safety is a priority!
• Where: Rideau Center, Smiths Falls, Ontario at CardioFit 4 Life.
• When: Tuesday from 7 – 8 PM. Starting 12 January 2016 for eight weeks and ends 1 March 2016.
• Cost: Introductory package of eight classes for $80 (preregistered). One can attend individual classes by dropping in for a $15 fee. The next eight-week session starts 8 March and the regular price is $100.
• Preparation: Bring a yoga mat, bottle of water and wear clothes you can move in. Arrive 10 – 15 minutes before the class starts. Bring your own blocks, straps, blankets etc. if desired.

• Examples of class content: traditional yoga poses, core strengthening, balance, breath work, addressing structural and muscle imbalances, some yoga therapy.
• About me: I have been practicing yoga intensively for 12 years and have practiced hatha, yin, power, vinyasa flow, Yoga Tune Up, aerial, and gentle yoga. I received my 200 hour YTT certification in April of 2015 from Yoga by Sarah in St. Catharines, ON. Since then I have been teaching yoga in Carleton Place.
