Tuned Up Creations

This is my side project which my very talented best friend, Nickie Burditt (check out her art work on her page Pony Show) convinced me to get going on. I've always loved crafting/ DIY projects, but this is the first time I've worked on producing a bunch of stuff to put up for sale.

My mandate is to create fun and unique items out of materials that would otherwise be in a landfill. I've always been an environmentalist at heart so I try very hard to practice what I preach. Scraps of material, bottle-caps/cork screws, pallets, old records that no one wants to listen to or are scratched up and pistachio shells are some of the things I've been able to play with so far. I'm always looking for new ideas and ways to up-cycle and create treasures out of trash
