University of Waterloo Pharmaceutical Research Club

University of waterloo Pharmaceutical research club is comprised of University of Waterloo undergrad students interested in the Pharmaceutical Sciences. The pharmaceutical sciences are a group of interdisciplinary areas of study concerned with the design, action, delivery, disposition, inorganic, physical, biochemical and analytical biology, epidemiology, statistics, chemometrics, mathematics, physics, and chemical engineering, and applies their principles to the study of drugs. The pharmaceutical sector is one of the most innovative industries in Canada. It is composed of companies developing and manufacturing innovative medicines and generic pharmaceuticals, as well as over the counter drug products. The demand for pharmaceutical Scientists is growing rapidly. Our Club’s objective is to share information about the recent developments ongoing in pharmaceutical research and allow fellow students who are interested in pharmaceutical research to engage in meaningful discussion with each other.
