Untamed Entertainment

Untamed Entertainment is hosted by me, Jason T. Ross, out of Innisfail, Alberta. I'm a life long music enthusiast who has been lucky enough to finally come upon a really great job working for an even better man at Tom Lindl Guitar & Entertainment where I get to focus on and continue my growth as a musician, and which has opened up big doors for me to be able to share my love of music with even more people via my own ventures.

I write music, I play and teach guitar now, and I love to sing almost as much as I love play. I've been playing guitar for about 16 years and teaching at Tom's store for about 2, but have always been 'musical' I even have songs that I wrote when I was still in elementary school. In the last 2 years, I've been slowly adding to a large repetoire of songs that I do covers of, as well as a list of original material which I'm working at putting onto a CD. There isn't an important moment of life to which I don't have a 'theme song' playing in the back of my mind when I relive those times in my memories.

As for the Untamed shows, my equipment is very portable and I add more to the studio as often as possible. I'm currently capable of setting up a full show for almost any 'small scale' musical event within a restaraunt, pub, bar, indoor, or outdoor setting, (even an in-door-dirt-floor-redneck birthday party last year). I am willing to do weddings, birthdays, anniversaries... well, almost any event, almost anywhere really. My taste in music is extremely diverse, and I have a collection closing in on 20,000 karaoke songs that go as far back as the 1940's through to recent material which is updated every month, with another 50,000 plus songs in my collection of released music. From A to Z and 1 to 1 million, I'm sure that I have at least 1 song you'll love to listen to.

"Choose a job you love, and you'll never have to work a day in your life." Yep, that about says it all. "Untamed Entertainment" is greatly inspired by my younger brother's way of life. He lived how he wanted, did what he wanted, and was one of the happiest people I've ever known most of the time, so I try to live the same way now, and in any event I host, all I hope for, is that those in attendance have fun, smile and laugh, and get the chance to do what they want to do whether that's sing (in or out of key), play (in or out of rythm), or listen (in or out of the room). The best part of all of this, is listening to the talent at any of the events I've done or attended in the last few years. Almost every time, the room has been surprised by someone they never heard before.
