Walk in the Bark

At first, Walk in the Bark was just an idea with no particular driving force. The only thing I knew was that 1) I wanted to be successful 2) I wanted a job that I love and 3) I wanted to be my own boss.

Eventually, after 25 years of wishing for and wanting a dog of my own, I finally did the research and brought home my beautiful Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, Decker. He inspired me to not only revolve my personal life around him, but also my professional one as well.

It started with a dog walking and pet sitting business that I opened, also named Walk in the Bark, which is still growing and developing. When I wanted to add another aspect to my business I thought creating dog collars and accessories would be such a fun and creative way to expand my business!

I am so glad that I have begun this journey and can showcase my creative side in a job that I love and am passionate about. I look forward to see where Walk in the Bark can take me, and I hope you follow me on the ride!
