What is Walnut Contemporary?

Walnut Contemporary works with Canadian and International artists to enrich our multicultural community.
Speaking a few languages and because some of our team have lived abroad for years, makes it easier to build cultural bridges and organize exchanges for art residencies.

Above all we love our artists and who they are as people.

Indeed we sell art, but we also provide venues for seminars and workshops that are relevant to the art community… and sometimes
we’ll include a Nespresso and macaroons.

We want to communicate with art on all levels… aesthetically, socially and personally.

Art for us transcends conformity and pre-conceived notions of what a gallery should be. Fortunately not only established artist’s share our vision and mission but also the young and emerging talents who we value and encourage to go further. We pay close attention to what the art schools are up to, what new exciting talents are emerging.

We love art. We want everyone to love art. Art defines who we are as a culture and as a people.
We are Walnut Contemporary because art makes us understand better our humanity.
