I am an artist from Nova Scotia .I do not have any degrees in art .People call me a self taught arist .I actually started drawing in my younger years first then I got into doing window art for stores.After that I got into doing murals. I fell in love with painting and I loved were it took me and the confidence it seemed to bring out in me.My influence is the Maritimes and the East Coast .After visiting some of my family that are living in Newfoundland I have found a new and wonderful inspiration .I love to plant things by the water Boathouses lighthouses you name IT.I Love using vivid bright colors because it reminds me of my surroundings back home. A cheery warm friendly familiar place a comfort zone you might say.I am now living here in Ontario which at times seems a little fast and hurried to me but has many wonders to it self .I just started selling my work 10 years ago here in Ontario as I never thought it was worthy to sell but after trying to sell them at a gift store an old mill ,yard sales ,library,local ,Art Gallary and a small shint with a painting or two at a antique shop in town ,and numberous donations to charities I am here promoting my own work .I am getting smarter at things .I am working on making some prints of my work and getting a website together.I hope you enjoy what you see.Please contact me if interested in buying some of my work thank you .
