Free Drop-in Services at the Whistler Women's Centre:
□ Intake and access to emergency Safe Housing
□ Non-judgmental, confidential support, advocacy, counselling, and referrals to other resources to help mitigate the effects of violence, abuse and high conflict relationships
□ Child and Youth Counselling
□ Information and guidance on women’s and children’s legal rights when facing high conflict, abuse, separation
□ Support and referrals for women who are facing physical, emotional and mental health issues
□ Front-line support for survivors of sexual assault, Sexual assault community education and prevention
□ Free clothing, books, toys, bath products and necessities for infants, children and women
□ Assistance with forms and applications, as well as computer, internet, photocopy and fax use
□ Resources and info on topics affecting women + children
□ A safe and neutral space for women to meet with RCMP, Victim Services, Mental Health, etc. and meeting support
□ Ongoing wellness programs: Yoga, Prenatal, Mom-Tot
□ Advocacy, awareness raising and education for the prevention of gender violence against women and girls
