White Lantern

Greetings, and welcome to White Lantern, where we're holding a light up to sustainable living!

My wife Sharon Coombs​ and I are starting a Grow Biointensive research and demonstration site in the beautiful Slocan Valley of British Columbia, Canada.

We are Grow Biointensive teachers, experienced natural builders, and are passionate about living a sustainable lifestyle, and inspiring others!

Our intentions are to recognize and develop short season crop varieties that thrive in our climate, and to be a working example of sustainable living through Grow Biointensive mini farming, natural building, and permaculture principals.

We really want to empower our community, and all Canadians, to become food secure, to be able to house themselves without crippling debt, and in doing so live a balanced lifestyle within the cycles of nature.

We want to thank our Mentor and friend John Jeavons for his life long commitment to feeding the world sustainably. His tireless dedication, decades of research and true love and passion for teaching people all over the world has influenced countless lives, including our own.

We strive to make him proud by carrying on his work in Canada, and by representing and continuing to work with Ecology Action, to further develop the Grow Biointensive Method in our home country.
