The foundation of the Woodbridge Soccer Club began with two gentlemen's love and passion for soccer. In 1972, Sam Rietta and Frank Polsinelli formed the East Woodbridge Soccer Club and West Woodbridge Soccer Club, respectively, to serve the Woodbridge Community.
In 1976, these two men combined their dream and passion for the game of soccer to bring forth the Woodbridge Soccer Club as it stands today. Beginning with just 14 members, the Woodbridge Soccer Club operated out of the Woodbridge Arena and played out of Rainbow Creek.
Our mission is to provide an opportunity for any person in the City of Vaughan to play soccer in an encouraging and rewarding environment that emphasizes fun, teamwork and skill development at a level that fits his/her abilities. Woodbridge Soccer Club is also dedicated to offering high standard training for those individuals that wish to reach their full potential.
