Brother Mathews Vergis, the Venerable servant of God, leads thousands across the globe, to the life changing experience of the Almighty God with healing, deliverance and the mighty anointing of the Holy Spirit through fasting prayers.

Three decades of his ministry was built on the Biblical principle of fasting prayer – a discipline which God has commanded His people to observe forever. Brother has undertaken all the fasts mentioned in the Bible including the 40 days, 21 days, 14 days and 7 days fasting prayer. He has led numerous 5-day, 3-day and 24-hour corporate fasts all over the world. He is also the editor of the Christian Walk Bible, the first ever study Bible in the world on Fasting and Prayer.

Through the gifts and graces attained through fasting and prayer, God has used Brother to minister to the millions through numerous ministries including Bible translations, building churches, music, media, outreach and welfare.

Bro. Dr. Mathews Vergis is actively supported in his spiritual endeavor by his wife Raji and are blessed with three children and three grandchildren.
