YGK Beer

Learn how to brew beer using ingredients from scratch.
During a 4 to 5 hour session, you will learn everything you need to know to brew your own all grain beer using barley, hops, water and yeast.
We will be using simple DIY equipment that anybody can build.
The course focuses on:
- beer styles
- barley sources
- crushing grains
- mashing equipment
- mashing process
- sparging
- boiling wort equipment
- boiling wort and adding hops
- chilling
- yeast and fermentation
- conditioning and bottling
After the session you will be allowed to take your brew home to ferment and bottle, instructions included.
