At Yoga Spirit & Wellness, we are a family. We want this space to be yours, so we welcome you with open arms, as you are, who you are and loving who you love. We are all equal, and are all welcome regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, or other point of difference. We have no room for ego or anyone that might think they are better than someone else – we are all teachers, and we are all students. All this being said, we are human, we laugh and cry in class and we make mistakes. We are happy to hear from you with any particular needs you might have, and we are willing to learn how to adopt our teaching to your needs, whether that means chair yoga, or modified poses based on your injury or disability. This Manifesto is a starting point, a place that we as a community can grow and learn from.
We are endlessly grateful for the students and teachers that have shaped this community. At Yoga Spirit & Wellness, we feel that it is important to put our values in writing, so that before anyone walks through the front door they know that they are loved. We want you to feel just as comfortable being yourself here are we do.
Welcome to the family.
