Your Pet Porter

A member of the Toronto Dog Walker’s Association, Your Pet Porter, Lisa Marson, specializes in cat sitting and solo and small group walks for dogs who have special behavioural or health requirements, including reactivity, seizures and the complications of disease, accident or aging. She also walks dogs who simply require more structure, or those who prefer human companionship.

Lisa walks exclusively on foot so dogs averse to cars are at ease and able to explore close to home to minimize anxiety. This style of walking also means we’re minimizing our environmental impact

Lisa is experienced in caring for dogs of many breeds, from Chihuahuas to Great Danes, and has also shared her home with cats, and is an enthusiastic and reliable cat sitter.

Dedicated to professional growth through continuing education, to ensure the best service, I have learned through experience and by working with fellow walkers and trainers, veteran dog owners and through positive reinforcement resources through Karen Pryor, Jean Donaldson, and Turid Rugaas. Only humane, force-free, dog-friendly techniques are used on walks. Certified in Pet First Aid, Lisa is committed to keeping all animals safe and healthy.
