AquaRou

Hello!

AquaRou is a start-up company based in Ottawa, ON. As frequent gym go-ers we found that we were struggling to keep our personal items together while working out. We were afraid of losing our most important items such as our student card, keys and iPod while we tried to concentrate on working out. We thought it would be useful to make our gym experience more enjoyable and productive by creating a product that could carry our personal items without any hassle or worries. The AquaRou's goal was to make transporting our personal items more portable by simply creating a sleeve to put on our bottles. That way we could run on the treadmill, lift weights, or stretch without worrying about losing or damaging anything. And that's how AquaRou was born! As a company in its infancy, AquaRou was launched on Shopify in February 2016, and strives to create a line of products that are unique, distinctive and make working out and travelling more convenient.

Our team: We are all Carleton University Undergraduate students, interested in entrepreneurship and innovative learning!

Hammed Asad - Fourth year Computer Science, enjoys fitness and attending Hackathons.

Kevin Deslandes - First year Communications, minoring in Business studies, specializes in leisurley reading and working out.

Eric Gronke - Third year Commerce, avid golfer and active pizza eater.

Allie Cunningham - Fourth year Communications, is minoring in Business studies, social media enthusiast.
