Autism Speaks Canada Carleton University is a group of committed Carleton students who are dedicated to what Autism Speaks represents: raising awareness of what autism is and the different levels of severity that it entails. Additionally, we want to raise awareness of what the day to day lives of those with autism and their peers experience.
About 1 in 68 children have been identified with autism spectrum disorder (data from CDC's Autism and Developmental Disabilities Monitoring Network).
Our goal is to raise awareness, advocacy and fundraising efforts for autism through Autism Speaks.
