Monet began her first career as an elementary school teacher in Tauranga, New Zealand. Her second career, began in Los Angeles and later sent her to Houston and Dallas. As an entrepeneur, she co-owned and operated a chain of photography studios. For 15 years, she marketed and sold franchises of her business, both in North America and worldwide.
