Lower Gibsons Historical Walking Tour

The Historcial walk will start at Pioneer Park in lower Gibsons by the George Gibsons statue right across from Molly's and go rain or shine.

The walk will be led by a third generation local native. A local historian who loves to leave you knowing more about his community for both tourists and local residents alike!! Through 90 minutes of colorful narrative storytelling I will weave you thru our local history starting with the Squamish FN village and its purpose for its location, how and why George Gibson rowed ashore, what life was like in the 1890's,1920's, 1950's, people who lived here who went on to national prominence, great community splits of the day, stories that will make you laugh and make you cry!
