En 1960, M. Arthur Barbe et M. Mercier commencèrent à exploiter le restaurant de Hull sur la rue Eddy. En 1979, Gérard Courchesne et Hélene Lafrenière achetèrent le restaurant et gardèrent le nom de Barbe. Marc, leur fils, y travailla de 1979-1987. Le 23 avril 1988, Marc avec l’aide de ses parents acheta le restaurant au 292 route 105 à Low, Barbe jr. était née. Après plusieurs agrandissements et un grand stationnement pour mieux vous servir, toute l’équipe de Barbe jr. travaillons ardemment pour que la tradition se poursuive.

Our Story

In 1960, Mr. Arthur Barbe and Mr. Mercier began to exploit Hull’s restaurant on Eddy street. In 1979, Gérard Courchesne and Hélene Lafrenière bought the restaurant and kept the name Barbe. Their son Marc, worked with them from 1979-1987. In April 23, 1988 with the help of his parents, Marc bought the restaurant at 292 on 105 road, to Low and Barbe Jr. was born. After several expansions and a large parking lot to serve you better, the team of Barbe Jr. are vigorously working to continue the tradition.
