Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba, Robson Hall's sense of community between students, faculty, and alumni is its defining feature.
As the only law school in the province, we take our mandate to produce excellent lawyers seriously – classes with a small student-to-professor ratio, our own state-of-the-art building, and numerous opportunities for students to work with practicing lawyers and judges are just a few things that help us turn ambitious students into successful lawyers.
For over a century we have graduated excellent lawyers who are experts in all areas of law. Our alumni practice all around the world.
We offer both the J.D. degree and the LL.M. degree, and we specialize in Aboriginal legal issues, business law, and in human rights. These three focus areas of teaching and research are relevant globally, but are particularly germane to issues facing Manitoba and Canada.
